Absinthe Updated To 0.4 – Jailbreak iPhone 4S / iPad 2 On 5.0.1

Today Absinthe was updated to version 0.4. For more information on the new version check the change log below. You can download the latest version of Absinthe on our downloads page.

Version 0.4

- Mac: added support for OSX 10.5, PPC and Intel CPU
- added consistency check on startup to make sure required files are in place
- Windows: fixed bug in payload generator that might cause a crash

- first public Linux x86/x86_64 release
- Windows: fixed possible bug in payload generation
- small additions and changes to the text instructions

(e.g. 'Absinthe' icon instead of 'Jailbreak' icon)

- improved webclip VPN triggering
- ensure crashreport data is sane so payload generation does not fail
- use temporary files and folders to solve permission issues
- Mac: fixed getting executable path so the payload data is actually found

i jailbreaked my iphone ver 5.0.1 (9A406) with absthine 0.4. everything is fine, cydia works. but i can’t install any paid and unpaid applications from my laptop through itunes. ..all applications says (Appli_____ failed to install, can anyone help thanx

hey, i have ah question. i looked the tutorial from techtechman and i do the same what he was doing. now i have absinthe on my idevice, i want open it but its loading and comes the message: ” Didn’t work? Try this: 1. Tap ‘Jailbreak’ to open the Settings application and turn on the VPN named ‘Jailbreak’ i click on the jailbreak banner but then comes the error that i cant open this url.

pls help me, greets!
