Aicon Provides Instagram-Like Filters For Your App Icons

Aicon was recently released onto the BigBoss repo of Cydia, and I have to say – I’m actually quite impressed. It provides the ability to place filters on your app icons, for example – X-Ray or Sepia. Of course this is always going to be better conveyed via video, so check out the one below:

The only current problem with this utility, is that it doesn’t always apply the filters. You occasionally will have to respring, or revert to your original icons then apply the filters from scratch to make it work. However I’m sure this could easily be fixed by the developer with a incremental update.

As you can see, there are a whole selection of filters. Some of which look a bit tacky, like Xray, and some look pretty awesome. It’s all a matter of preference, and I highly recommend picking it up for $1.99 in Cydia.
