Have you ever noticed that whenever you invoke the stock app switcher in iOS, that it removes the status bar from your screen for the duration of time that you are in the app switcher? You may not have, I certainly hadn’t. However let me jog your memory:
As you can see from this screenshot, the status bar is nowhere to be seen. This is because as part of the default iOS animation when the switcher is invoked, it hides the status bar. However a new jailbreak tweak creatively named ‘App Switcher Status Bar’ remedies this problem by implementing a status bar directly into the switcher itself. Take a look at the video below to see it in action:
The tweak functions well, as it should. However the only problem I have with this one is the price. This is hardly a tweak of high importance, it only performs one small function, and this really isn’t worth the $0.99 which the developer is asking for it. However if you really do want to check this one out, you can of course download it for the asking price from the ModMyi repo.
