Today Apple released iOS 7.0.6 which features many minor changes including a fix for SSL connection verification problems. The update is available for all devices and a new firmware 6.1.6 was released for devices that are not supported on iOS 7. It is still unsure if 7.0.6 is jailbreak friendly so we recommend you don’t update until it is confirmed. MuscleNerd stated

Same advice as last time! Stay away from 7.0.6 if jailbroken, and we’ll update evasi0n7 if possible (this sounds like an important fix!)

Most likely evasi0n will not be patched until iOS 7.1 which is expected in the coming weeks. In that case the evaders will release a new version of evasi0n for users to jailbreak.

so this new ios 6.1.6 can still be jailbroken using the old methods?

Yes, I just did it on my iPod 4G, although it WILL be a Tethered Jailbreak, P0sin Untethered is NOT yet compatible with 6.1.6.

Thanks, ill stick to ios 6.1.2 until P0sin is updated

IOS 7.0.6 is already Jailbroken, I am running both my iPad Mini AND my iPhone 5, 7.0.6, Jailbroken, all you have to do is edit Evasi0n7 with a HEX editor and change the values from the 7.0.5, to 7.0.6. :)

I am using iOS 7.0.4 and it’s already jailbroken, all I have to do is update to 7.0.6? Or do I have to start over, a fresh install of 7.0.6 and then use the new version of jailbreak? Thanks
