Welcome back to another roundup of the top 3 tweaks of the week! We have some interesting tweaks to show you this week, so without further ado, let’s head in!

Dashboard X: One of the most impressive tweaks I’ve used in a long time, and one which will continue to impress the more it gets built on by other developers. The tweak brings a very cool notion, and that is to allow any notification centre widgets, to be used on your homescreen. It also supplies a large amount of functionality, in that you can choose to interact with them or not, or move them to anywhere on your screen too. More info can be found here.

Chip: This provides the ability to set custom animations for notifications, as well as some other nifty features. There are a number of different animations to choose from, from a simple ‘Cascade’ from the top, to a slightly over the top ‘Rotation’ spin into yourscreen. Each animation is very unique, some with a feel of simplicity, and others being bold and a bit out there. More info can be found here.

Switchy: This is a particularly simple jailbreak tweak, but one I couldn’t pass up showing to you. It customises your app switcher, to increase the capacity from 1 row of apps to 2 rows. It also adds the ability to clear all your active apps in one touch, and a setting shortcut. More information can be found in the video above.

Dashboard X is not ready to be live, and the developer does not respond to communication on crash reports I give him.  I keep trying to use it with every update and it constantly crashes my iPhone.  Like the idea, but really should not be live yet!  My iPhone NEVER crashes when I do not have Dashboard X installed.  And I trimmed it down to only using widgets written by the author of Dashboard X.  If any way you can communicate to the author these things, would be great, because my communicate seems to fall on deaf ears.  Thanks for the videos!
