Apple has released iOS 6.0.2 to people who own an iPhone 5 or an iPad Mini. It seems to currently be only available to these devices, however we may see it roll out to others in the near future. The purpose of 6.0.2 is to fix a WiFi connectivity issue that has been occuring with these devices, so it’s nothing much you’re missing out on.
Upon hearing the news, MuscleNerd tweeted out today:
Remember!JBers should always avoid updates (like 6.0.2 being offered to some devices today) to improve chances of using any future JB

We take this opportunity to re-iterate what the dev team is telling us. The untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 is hopefully coming soon, but updating your firmware on your device is a surefire way to decrease the chances that your device will be compatible with the jailbreak once it is released. Be sure to stay tuned to the site, because as soon as any news is available regarding the jailbreak, we’ll be sure to share it with you straight away. Stay patient, and vigilant. Any jailbreak that doesn’t come directly from the dev team, is most likely fake.
