According to BGR‘s sources Apple is planning on releasing an update to iOS 6 soon to fix many of the bugs introduced with the large update. iOS 6.0.1 is in testing now and will most likely released as soon as possible. The update will be minimal and feature mainly bug fixes including the glitchy keyboard when downloading applications on the App Store. iOS 6.1 is also in testing, however not expected until after the holidays. This means that there is a good chance that 6.0.1 will be released at the Apple event tomorrow and come stock on the newer versions of iPads that are expected at the event.
If you have an a4 device and are jailbroken on 6.0 we advise that you do not update to 6.0.1 when it comes out as it will break your current jailbreak. That being said, iOS 6.0.1 should be jailbreakable soon after on only a4 devices due to the limera1n exploit.
