The iOS 7 untethered jailbreak just dropped yesterday, which had many people very excited. However, some people could not update to the new firmware, for whatever reason, and so were stuck on iOS 6.1.3-6.1.5. These devices were still stuck without the untethered jailbreak, until now.

iH8sn0w today released a new tool called p0sixpwn with evad3rs member winocm, that allows you to convert your tethered jailbreak into an untethered jailbreak by downloading a package from Cydia. The blog post about the release can be found here. Right now, it only works for the iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4th generation, and the iPhone 4, but a jailbreak for A5+ devices on iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 will reportedly be coming by Christmas Day. To use the jailbreak, follow these steps:

1) Have a tethered jailbreak (either via redsn0w [Point to 6.0 IPSW] or sn0wbreeze).
2) Open Cydia.
3) Click the “Changes” tab in the footer.
4) Press the “Refresh” button in the top left corner.
5) After “Reloading Data”, perform a search for “p0sixspwn” (the O is a zero).
6) Tap Install.

With that, you should have a fully untethered jailbreak on iOS 6.1.3, 6.1.4, or 6.1.5. Let us know if you have any questions!
