Probably a huge percentage of you who use Twitter on your Mac may use various different clients, such as Tweetbot or Twitterfific. However a lack of updates to the official Twitter client for Mac has led to it being discarded by many OS X users. The most prominent of these users are Retina MacBook owners, as the Twitter Mac client still hasn’t received retina support.
However time and time again we’ve seen proof that users are more awesome than companies, as a third party iOS developer has released a patch via Twitter that allows you to run the Twitter client for Mac in retina quality. The tweet reads:
I patched twitter app to support Retina. download from mediafire.com/?x141iiib2466k… (thanks to @bsr43#hopperapp)

If you’re interested in the patch, go ahead and download it from the Mediafire link in the Tweet and let me know in the comments how you get on with it!
