There have been many rumors perviously on LTE capabilities, and they still are coming. Two new pieces of information were seen today including iMore’s sources claiming the new device will feature the technology, and Verizon hinting at something coming soon.

To start off, the source that reported to iMore that the iPad 3 event was being held on March 7th is also claiming that the next gen device will include LTE support. Since the previous rumor was true we can only hope that this will be the same.

Verizon has the most to gain from an LTE iPad. Right now, Verizon is stuck carrying an iPad 2 that gets up to 3mbps on EVDO Rev. A, well below the theoretical 14.4mbps offered on AT&T’s HSPA network. Given how far ahead Verizon is with LTE, that has to sting, as has to be something they want Apple to address.

Secondly, Verizon put up a form on their homepage telling their users that “Something Is Coming”. Could this be LTE for the next generation iPad? We don’t know, however, with all these rumors going around it sure could be.

We won’t know anything for sure until Wednesday. Make sure to check back for the newest details as they are unveiled at Jailbreaknation.com
