Today we are profiling an awesome tweak, that enables you to record your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad screen, completely on device. This tweak is by popular jailbreak developer Ryan Petrich, and his info page for the tweak can be found here. DisplayRecorder has been around for quite a while, the newest update enables screen recording on iOS 5, which was previously impossible.
Several different video codecs are supported, including h.264, MJPEG, and AVI, so the movie you record can be played anywhere, and even uploaded to Youtube straight from the app.
This tweak does cost $4.99 from the Cydia store, but its fluid interface and great service make that totally worth the price, especially for anyone that spends time recording their iPhone screen.
