Remove The Application Download Bar With NoLine

Tom Richardson August 11, 2012 5

There are tweaks that make a huge difference to your device, and unfortunately, there are tweaks that don’t. NoLine happens to be one of these tweaks, as it lets you remove the blue download progress bar for application downloads. This in theory, sounds okay, however in practical use it takes away the only indication about how far the download has progressed. If you take it away, you have no form of reference to knowing if the app is near to installation. I took it for a spin below, so check that out to see how it performs:

If you’re looking to spice up the downloading of your applications, I recommend looking at the ‘AppCent‘ tweak, which allows you to change the download bar into a numerical percentage. Which makes much more sense as opposed to removing the bar altogether. However if you do want to go and check it out, you can download it from the BigBoss repo for free.

lol these tweaks are getting funnier each day. But it is great to get the even option like this. I think it would be better off to implement these small tweaks in Springtomize or similar. Springtomize could be so much more than it is now.

Well hang on why don’t you use this tweak an appcent doesn’t this mean that now you
Would have just a percentage ??

Hw about a date in the menu bar. Month, day, and year. And add seconds to the time.

How about an option for seconds on the menu bar, and a month-day-year option on the menu bar as well. For allo of what I do with my iPad, this would be very convenient.
